Disturbed Poet

The cry, the anger and the protest
The question is when all this going to rest?

The strong, weeping and innocent girl is dying everyday
The moments of life is snatched from her in every possible way.

The Cop is killed with no reason, who will take the blame?
When we will start living without the guilt and the shame.

Who are the protesters, are they protesting for the cause or for the clause?
When I hear and see the brutality, I just go pause.

Men are weird animals without integrity
They're losing the trust and their own dignity.

The government is sleeping, the police is confusing
We are violating and shouting just to give good fighting.

The politicians are marking their words without any sense
They should realize the fact that the situation is ugly as well as tense.

The judgement will take its time
Does that mean we should sit and wait for another such crime?

Let the mind be free and without fear so that we can keep our heads held high
I don't want the people should be fragmented by narrow domestic mentality.

The world is good, the world is living. Its not about surviving in here, its about loving it too.

WHY?

Now the thing is how to act?

Can we act by sharing our thoughts on Facebook or Twitter or we can act by sharing the 'shame logo'?

Or we can act by marching in front of some monument and ask for the judgement?

Those who can do something are not taking any measures, they're also doing what we're i.e. Tweeting.

Is it the time to do politics on such issues? The insane people in parliament need to take actions. Our Heroes, Icons need to take action. I always wanted this country to be dictated so that such issues can be controlled.

Why can't we impose the punishments like Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Iran and other countries. Why we have to make case of every big or small issue and wait for the judgement.

The girl who is brutally raped, is no longer living her life. She is just surviving with all the pains, curse and weird reactions from the society. And the rapists get the life imprisonment so that they can rape again after coming out from Jail. Why this sick and awful laws?

The question is again on the equality here. If the government will decide to give the capital punishment to these criminals then the Human Rights people will sing their own raga. These are the people who won't learn till such thing is going to happen with them or their family members.

No one is taking responsibility. The Police claimed it as uncertainty and blamed shabby clothes. The government said we took all the measures but then also this thing happened. When the law is passed against the tinted glasses then from where the hell this bus came from?

The girl is fighting for her life each moment in the hospital. Who is to be blamed? Well I don't think so its the only rapists. It is the whole system who is responsible.

By Marching or lighting a candle won't solve the problem in this country. The solution is unknown but the step has to be taken now. Either behead the criminals in between 1000s of people so that the example can be set or hang them in front of all. But whatever, this time the judgement should be brutal so that the soul of every individual oscillate and think 100 times before thinking about the same.

May god bless that girl with a  speedy recovery and bullets to the Scoundrels...

Time Passing in Disguise...

Where are the words, are they over ruled by the emotions or are they lost with time?
Where was I? Was I waiting for the event, news or the situation or I am the news now?

The gap from writing, the distance from the thing I loved most. Where am I, what is there in my mind?
Are there tensions, are there confusions? Why I can't live like a child with no frustrations?

The days are passing smoothly, the nights are sailing roughly.
Where is the dusk, where is the dawn? I am unable to view them.

The additional friends, the subtracting known people. Who is mixing life?
The world is known with the unknown and unknown with the known..

Happiness is around in disguise, its there for the future.
The present is like a roller coaster, with laugh and tears.

I am master of anger, am I too hopeful, am I too expecting or am I just being myself.
If you don't give me what I want, you can live without me by yourself.

Who is happy? The family or your friends? Are you happy if they are not happy?
They want you. What do you want? You want them or their happiness. The answer is numb.

There is nothing new in this world, neither the peace to the man in grave.
The people weeping on the grave are also in search of the peace.

The smile is here to search for me and I am searching it inside.
The world is a happy place with the smiling faces outside ...

You

You’re the morning dusk,
You’re the evening dawn,
You’re the good of each day.

You’re the depth of an ocean,
You’re the height of the mountain,
You’re the nature for me I swear.

You’re the road to life,
You’re the bridges to comma,
You’re the reason I find my way.

You’re the birth month Jan,
You’re the gift of August,
You’re the love month May.

You’re the words for me,
You’re the meaning to them,
You’re the reason I say.

You’re my world, want to live in it. Calmly and happily with YOU ...

Sameer Babu

Who is calling me? Whose voice was that? The voice is known, the person is own.
Where is he gone? The surrounding is mourned.
The second person I saw after my father when I came on the planet.
His words and knowledge used to act like a magnet.
How many memories I have with him? Its uncountable.
How many things I have learned from him? Its immeasurable.
The world without his presence is unacceptable.
The best friend of my father, for me he was fatherly figure.
With everyday meeting, the warm greetings.
With often dinners, the night winners.
The poet who resides in him, the singer who sings with him, and the knowledge who slaves in him is exceptional.

The people are exchanging their views, the grass outside is filled with dews.
You’re there to pay tribute to the person, not to share your experiences which you had in person.
The man is gone, the dream is unborn.

As your presence was filled with smile wear, your absence is filled with tears.
The Maardsaab to my father
The sharer of jokes, secrets, music and the life to him, all will be missed.
We know that you’re always with us Uncle.
Aunty, Tanu Bhaiya, Ranu and all of us here will be strong as you wanted us to be.

I will close my eyes every time I miss you and I know the first thing I will hear is Sameer Babu.

In memory of - Arvind Uncle

Angels in Disguise

Who are they? Are they my friends in all emotions or they are angels in disguise?
What my mind is thinking? Are they reading the same?
My eyes are looking for peace, are their shoulders meant for the same?
My words are best understood by them, are they Collins or Oxford?
They read my body, soul and heart, sometimes they play my part.
What is sadness in their presence? I don’t want to search anymore.

I will never change my priorities. It’s more than my duties.
They are like other side of morning which is more beautiful.
They are like other side of lie, the truth.
They are like other side of faith which is more trustworthy.
They taught me that the world is mean and selfish, now I believe in it as earlier I used to think its all rubbish.
The people are here for purpose, they pass by with the solution.
Thank god, I have an angel in disguise who have an answer for every of my emotion.

Dawn's Highway

It was dawn's highway, the first moment of the day.
The dogs are chasing car, have they just checked out from the bar?
The cow with her calf, whose size was just its half, no need to laugh.
The people who are pissing and shitting around, are they helping the farmer in manuring their ground?
Are the trees going fast in the opposite direction or we're moving fast against of them?
The birds are flying low and high, are they waving you final goodbye?
The road is rough, the drive is tough, the man outside is having bad cough.
Who is peeping from the clouds? Is it the Sun? Whats the fun if its not spreading sunshine?
The staring eyes, the muddy eyes, all are behaving like spies.
The irritating dust of dawn, the sky is torn.
The green grass is like shining brass.
What my eyes are searching in the morning? Is it the peace or the truck just broke it by honking?
The dawn highway, where the thoughts are finding their each way.

Just the Poem

Where I have lost, where was my writing, have I lost it or wasn't thinking about it?
The busyness of life kept me away from it or its just an excuse?
Where is the friend, where are the people who follow my writing?
Are they over my writing or they’ve found the replacement?
I am not surprised because its something I presented on the stage. I am the writer not the actor.
Who is the actor, the man in disguise or the leader whom we look upto.
Is it a good world to write about or I couldn't find better words to describe about?
There is a scream, where is laughter? There is anger, we’re in danger.
The wet eyes are more painful or the dried one? Who is going to answer?
Relationships break with a sad end and a bad word.
Are you over with it or you’re living the life you never wanted to?
You recover soon; you forget what is good and what is not.
You’re falling in hell, you need a hand of your friend, is he there to hold it or you've lost him miles away?
Listen, the life is unpredictable; you learn it when you’re through. All I am saying is to be true.
Can you make an eye contact with me or is there guilt in you which only you could see?
Have you missed your home lately, have you called your mom and told her that you miss home and her? Have you had a word with your Dad?
The hour is here to express, why it was suppressed, I don’t know the reason.
The colour was blue and black then why its turning grey everywhere.
The changes in you I can’t accept, you can live your life except me.
I am lost in the words and the music, which is there to check me. I am master of my own.

The FoUr Years

Four years of exploring the mind, finding the words, observing the surroundings.

Today I’ve completed 4 years of blogging and during this time I’ve captured my thoughts in words, expressed my views in sentences and gave my opinions in paragraphs.

With this, I would like to thank many people for giving me inspiration and appreciation on my writing. Firstly, would like to thank my Dad-Mom, who are regular visitors of my blog. Though they give their feedback on very few of my posts but they are very much part of it. Secondly, would like to thank my Didi-Jijaji for their support and sometimes corrections too. Saharsha for inspiring me to write, well some of my posts are actually inspired from them. Luvleen Benbi, the first person to comment on my writings. Last but not the least, would like to thank Saumya, a fellow blogger, for all the encouragement and feedback which she gives in her own way.

Also would like to thank the crazy, weird and unique world around me who always inspires me to write.

Autowala. In

And he saw me standing while crossing me, he was going for some work and soon after 5 minutes he came back to me and asked, "Bhaiya kahan jaana hai?", I told him, close to "Filmistan". He said, "bethiye, paise jitne hote hain utne de dena aap". This man was Mr. Bechan who haven't asked me double the rate than the actual. I asked the meaning of his name but he was unaware of the same. I searched it too on the internet but couldn't find anything. And the journey started.

This was, when I had gone to Delhi on the last weekend after having tough one month in Behror. I wanted to talk, share my views and opinions and the very first guy I met was Mr. Bechan. He cursed other Autowalas as they were available when I was in need but wasn't going because of the Traffic Jams. He said, "Bhaiya, jaana hum sab ka farz hai, ab traffic to puri Dilli mein hai, iska matlab ye thodi na ki kahin nahi jayenge, aur aap bhi paise de rahe ho to humein kya farak padta hai." His words were meaningful and same were his views. Then he cursed the local Traffic Police that how they harass these Autowalas for without any reason. Just to earn money they charge them for any stupid reason. He told me stories about weird passengers who are not willing to pay even Rs. 20 which is appropriate and how he let it go to avoid any argument.

Then as we were rolling on the road, he started sharing his family issues. That his nephew who is 18 wants to marry a girl of the different caste who is 21. How that girl is taking the advantage of this boy. Bechan bought a Motorbike for him as he demanded but soon he started spending his time and his money on that stupid girl. After all this, the boy told his Chacha i.e. Bechan that he wants to marry that girl and for that he can also leave the house. Bechan tried his level best to convince him but failed, he also kicked him but again not succeeded and then he decided to take them to the Police. The police thrashed that boy and girl (not that badly) and made them write that they won't see each other again.

Well this was the step taken by Bechan. He stopped his 18 years old nephew to get married so soon and Bechan became a villain infront of his brother and sister in-law. They even threatened him that they will file case against him for beating their son. But in my eyes Bechan did good for his nephew and for his entire family.

Subhash Subhash

Unfortunately or fortunately the name of this man is inspired from our very own Subhash Chandra Bose. SCB was an extremist but this man is Mr. Bechara.

Subhash Subhash, O Subhash. The only thing I hear during the day. The man should be the Mascot of Johnnie Walker, as the label says, "KEEP WALKING". Subhash paani laana, Subhash chai laana, Subhash woh print out lana, Subhash ye photocopy kardena zara, Subhash is cheque pe sign kara lana and etc.

And the mistake which I did was when I asked Mr. Subhash, 'ke aap itne pareshaan kyun rahate ho' and then he started with his Oscar winning performance. "Bhaiya, 6 saal ho gaye, 4000 tankhwa milti hai. 3 jano ka kaam mujhse karate hain aur uske baad bhi main gaali khata hun, aadmi khush rahe to kahan se rahe". Well I guess this story is everywhere but again its part of the office life.

Talaash

Na jaane mujhe kiski talaash hai.

Maa-Baap ki khushi ki talaash.
Palkon ko halka karne ki talaash,
Apno ko paas laane ki talaash,
Hothon pe hasi ki talaash,
Doston ke saath ki talaash,
Dushmano se sulah karne ki talaash,
Sapne pure karne ki talaash,
Haathon ki rekhayein badalne ki talaash,
Khush rahane ki talaash,
Gum se dur rahane ki talaash,
Peeda ko dur karne ki talaash,
Basahara ko sahara dene ki talaash,
Aansuyon ko pine ki talaash,
Jeevan ke maksad ki talaash,
Manzil ko paane ki talaash.
Hai talaash, hai talaash

Satyamev Jayate - I

"satya ki humesha jeet hoti hai"

When Aamir Khan says something from the heart, the words are heavy for you mind.

The show Satyamev Jayate broadcasted its very first episode on May 6th, 2012 @ 11 o’clock IST. I mentioned this because I want it to be remembered as a very remarkable beginning of the new India. The episode was about an evil act which is taking place in our society and all which we were doing in these years were listening, getting hyper and forgetting but this is the time we should stand up together and fight against it.

Today’s episode was on the Female Infanticides and Foeticides. How the father, grandparents are against of an unborn little girl. They are killing the baby inside the womb if it’s a girl. And this activity is not only practiced in rural India but also the urban, literate people are doing the same. They want a boy who will take their name ahead. I don’t understand why they want their name to go ahead, in the end it will die with you. The only things which will last long are your good deeds. I don’t understand how can you kill a girl who is from the same sex as your mother, sister, wife and etc are. Have you ever thought what if your mother would have been asked to abort the child who was living inside her. It would have been the good for the society as we could have saved 2-3 more lives.

Then we saw some examples of cruelty of the so called male members as well as of females. The man who bit the face of his wife because she gave birth to two daughters, even animals don’t perform such cruel and brutal acts. In the so call society we say that a woman can only understand the pain of another woman but I guess this has been proven wrong. An old lady throwing a newly born girl from the stairs, what kind of inhuman act is that? Wish that old lady's parents would have done that with her.

Then we saw some murderers who live with the tag of life savers. The doctors who are encouraging such acts should be punished as well. It’s so easy to say that just take the girl and bury her but have you ever fiddled the heart of the mother of that child who is carrying her from the past 9 months, who never cared for herself before as she was doing in these 9 months?

Such acts are actually irritating and disgusting. The people who are doing such acts should actually be hanged or buried alive. This kind of act is worse than what the murderers do. The murderers kill the man who is there in this world since long but people like these are killing the girls who still haven’t become the part of this shitty world.

Waiting to see another ray of hope by Mr. Khan

Reserving the Nation

What comes in your mind when I say the word reservation? Is it related to travelling, is it related to the quota? What is it? Here I am talking about reservation for different castes.

Well I don’t understand why there is so much of confusion where the reservation is concerned. Why there is so much of chaos created? Why can’t we keep all the castes, religions on one platform and decide on merit basis. When you fill up a form, there is general quota which has lost its significance and then there are many followers like SC/ST, OBC etc. and now soon will be coming up for Jats, Gujjars, Rajputs and everyone. Soon the people who are falling in general category will be considered as minors.

You give an exam; if you score within cut off list then you’re through else you’re out. Now where the confusion is? Why the 100 seats are distributed in 60+20+15 and 5. Why can’t we have 100 seats for the top 100 whatsoever? The system should be merit based not the religion or caste based.

And what is with the agitation movements? If the government isn’t providing the reservation to some caste then the people of that caste will harm the civilians with their rude attitude, acts and behavior. What is the fault of the normal citizens who are not even part of the whole scenario? Moreover the majority of the protestors don’t even know the reason for protesting. Just by following their uncivilized leader they become the part of the movement without knowing the outcome. What if they lose their life in this? Who will gain from it? The answer is simple and clear and i.e. No one.

If you have guts and can dare to fight, then do it with courage by being part of the same system and not on the edge of some threat.

Bo Ring

What you do when you get bore? The place of getting bore plays an important role and your acts, behavior changes with it.

If you’re getting bore in the office

You watch people who are passing by; you watch the wall clock after every 5 minutes and in between see your wrist watch couple of times.

You stare at your Comp/Laptop screen like you haven’t seen such like before. You’ve opened your gmail and fb account and wait for somebody to ping you so that you can pass few moments.

You drink water unnecessarily even if your body is not demanding. You keep swinging on your chair.

You take out your cell phone to see that whether there is any message or not even if it’s on ringer or on vibrator. You scroll down all the contacts, read all the old messages and inside you feel sick.

If you’re getting bore in your room

Many acts are similar like above but there are more. You start a movie which you’ve seen before but you switch that off after 7 minutes.

You listen to the same old music but after sometime switch that off too.

You slide in your bed and take some book in your hands to read; you read a page and a half and close it too.

You get up, stand infront of the mirror and comb your unmessed hair. You start eating even if you’re not hungry. You watch outside from the window hoping to see something interesting and when there is nothing, you come to the bed again and finally to stay away from the boredom you go to sleep.

If you’re getting bore in some family function

You wish people and sit down, again you stand to wish and sit down and when again you have to greet, you decides to keep standing.

You watch people doing things unnecessarily. Kids who are playing around, you want to be the part of them. Elders having drinks but you cannot. There is only one good looking girl who is also leaving early. Aunts are asking stupid questions and sharing their views when you were young lad.

In a marriage you’re staring the bride and the groom and placing yourself in place of groom or the bride (depending on your sex and preferences). You hate the loudness which is there without any reason. Within you're thinking that why the hell people are shouting, what is so weird?

You decide to go at the stalls to eat. You check other people’s plate to see what they’re having. You take a round of all the dishes which are exhibited as if you’re the instructor. You take the plate, keep salad on it and reach to the stall, the one which gained your interest.

There is so much of boredom around but in the end we have to accept the situation and handle the same.

Hinduslim

If you are a Hindu then have you ever thought how will it feel when you pray to god with your hands open? And if you are a Muslim then your hands folded?

Have you ever thought to gift a Quran to a Hindu and a Geeta to a Muslim?

Have you ever asked your children to celebrate Eid with as much joy as you celebrate Diwali and vice versa?

Being a Hindu have you ever bowed infront of Dargah and being a Muslim have you ever rubbed your forehead against the stairs of the Temple?

Have you ever seen a Hindu wearing a Talisman and a Muslim wearing a Lord Shiva’s thread?

Can’t we see the day where we all worship one holy book which is Bhagwat Quran which is written in our ancient language Sanskrit?

Can we have Pathans in Hindu and Pandits in Muslim?

Well these are the few thoughts which come in my mind whenever I hear, see or read something on communal rights and fight. We live similarly, our eating habits are same, we are of the same colour, we are cheaters and reliable at the same time then why this difference?

The Teen Spirit

What is wrong with them? Their mind is not mature, they are not calculative. Why there is so much anger in them? Why they are ready to kill anyone? Why don’t they think once before doing it?

Recently I am witnessing many news related to this topic. The so called teenagers are killing people without any particular or major reason. A 15 years old boy killed three females with the help of a scissors just because one of the women from the three have complained about him to his mom and he was ‘humiliated’ by this act. Do they understand the importance of life? I want to know the reason behind these idiotic acts. A youth killed a master because he wasn’t allowing his friend to cheat in the exam. A boy killed his friend just because he was making the fun of his sneezing style. And there are many more

What is the reason behind so much of anger and aggression? Is it the fault of the parents, the teachers or the society? Many says that media is the source of all this but why we have to take all the negatives out of it. A teen arrested as he pulled out knife on father. Taking each other lives just because of a person. The teenagers are hanging themselves after failing in love, well in my eyes it’s not a heroic act; this is an act which a coward performs. They can’t fight with the fact, so instead of facing and fighting, they just give up.

They are not only murderers these days; they are settled in other fields also like robbery, chain snatching etc. Their needs in life have gone up or just they are insane to perform such acts. And the performers are not majorly from lower class, even from middle and upper middle class are involved in such acts to fulfill their need of drugs, girls, cigarettes and other source entertainment.

Our politicians and we say that the our future is depend on the youth of this country and if such young people are growing up then even god can’t save our country. God himself will give up.

“Reading Mind”

Why it changes that often? What is the reason behind it? Is it lonesome or people around you are acting weird. The mouth is shut because of no reason, the mind is thinking all negative; don’t feel like to perform any acts. I chose this lonesome but you only choose when you’re aware of it. I was unaware.

What I expect from the world? To perform comic acts in front of me, to entertain me or just be with me. Why will they be with me when they have their own lives? The fact is I am not part of them, my behavior is different. Yes for someone it’s rude, for someone its pointless anger. Am I really angry or I am sad? Why we expect anyone to spend their quality time with us? Expect, this six letter word is filled with hope, pain, sadness and anger but still you’re not ready to accept. Should I stay away from this world? The so call social networking is just about adding people, are we actually networking socially on it. How many of us said hello to each one of our friends, except wishing on birthdays and commenting on the photographs we’re left with nothing there. People with bad memory should be thankful to these sites as its helping them to remember their close one’s birthdays and other important days.

I don’t know what is going to happen in next moment then why I should think and get worried about the same. Can’t I just stay with my close ones? Are we humans forgetting the importance of life and people in it or we’re taking everything for granted. I am today but who knows that I’ll be there to mention about yesterday. I don’t believe in giving up but I can’t fight anymore. I don’t want to carry the same expression every day.  I can’t change the situation or surroundings but only thing I am asking is the support, the presence. You’re filled with people around you but here I am alone.

My mind is filled with peace or it doesn’t even have space for peace. The confusion is that. I am closing my eyes to see happy faces and then I see my own. Let’s finish this night right here. Hope to see smiling and refreshing sun tomorrow.

A Thoughtful Journey

What is thoughtful in the journey? Is it your brain or things or the people around you that makes you think?

Are these thoughts about your family, friends or enemies? Are these thoughts about your past day, your present or for tomorrow? What Mr. Brain keeps thinking? Is he thinking because he is alone or is he too occupied to think?

The glass window which is banging on regular intervals and is hanging with a help of a bolt, the curtains which are ragged gives you a sight outside. What is there? Trees or the electric wires which are moving like a wave. The hills are far, they are getting closer with every blink, their faces getting changed every moment. You are free, your mind is with them and then there is flash of a headlight or some light in your eyes, you are alive, you exist. You rub your eyes, you look inside the bus, there is nothing interesting, the journey of outside continues. Watching other people if you’re stuck in a jam, the tension, the reaction or acts they perform.

The falling of sleepy heads, the saliva from the kid’s mouth which is falling whenever he is running inside the bus. The musical horns of the trucks and the buses which are passing by. The overtaking and backing off because of the lack of opportunity. The sound of brakes is harsh to ear, the snore of a sleepy head is unavoidable and then there are loud talks on the mobile phones. The mixed music without the beats was intolerable. The multiple noises for ‘paani’ and ‘cold drinks’ at every stop. The strangers are chatting like best friends when they know that they are not going to meet again in near future. I am numb, listening, thinking and observing the nature and sometimes their calls too.

The journey is long or short, who knows? You did calculations for when you going to reach your destination, you’re mentally prepared but your calculations are mostly wrong. Then you gain anger, you get hyper. Who is at fault, your planning or your road partners?

“thoughts on the road is a long journey”

Terror IST

Who actually are these terrorist? Well according to the dictionary, “a person who tries to frighten people or governments into doing what he/she wants by using or threatening violence”. So do we need to go out for this species? Fortunately or unfortunately there are terrorist in every corner of our society, it’s just that we call them by different names like MLA, MP, Millitants, Maoist, Naxalites etc.

Our PM says, the central government as well as the state government should fight together against these terrorist to eradicate the terrorism. Here the question which arises is that how can someone fight with himself as the person who is sitting in the parliament or the vidhan sabha himself is a terrorist. In India one minister can’t win seat without spreading terror and the worst of all now they’re doing it openly. Recently Mayawati threatened the new CM of UP that if he mess with her parks then he have to face problems regarding Law & Order. This is what the actual sight is. What one is trying to portray?  What is the difference between the two – the terrorist and politician? They both go to jail, in jail they get VVIP treatment and they live happily ever after. Biggest example of both are Ajmal Kasab and LK Advani.

Now the question which arises is that how can we eradicate this completely, how can we get rid of such politicians. Well the answer and the punishment should be the same for all and i.e. to give them death. And I am not saying that we should do with all but to spread peace and awareness at least we have to take some number so that we can set an example which will just shake the roots of such kind of people. Let us fight within then will put a finger on the outsider. A terrorist from outside comes and indirectly spreads unity amongst us. We all stand together with hatred inside but still we do.

The only difference between the Terrorists and the Politicians is that, the terrorists kill you physically and the politicians kill you mentally

An Eye Opener

Have you thought about the reason when you open your one eye for the first time in the morning?

Of course there are possible reasons like Alarms, sunlight, disturbance outside, your hand or leg banging on to something, the bird’s chanting, the collision of utensils. But what is the actual reason? It is the one of the most beautiful moment in the morning. It is the feel when you don’t realize that are you awake or alive or are you still in your dreams. You see people with strange expression, some faces you find are known and some are unknown. What the unknown faces are doing there, the thought which comes in your mind but it doesn’t matter to you at that very moment. You feel the existence of your body parts. You think about the last night, whether it was peaceful, what was the last thing you did. The sheet under you on which you was sleeping since night suddenly became uncomfortable to you.

You stretch your arms to make sure that yes you’re here to widen your dreams, your thoughts, your life. You yawn as to hear your sound, to make sure you’re not deaf or dumb. Sometimes you also forget that where are you getting up, yesterday you were at some place and today at the other. Sometimes you don’t even realize that whether you got up in the morning or evening. For some moment you think about the day and the date.

Opening an eye is the hatred and opening of both the eyes is a favour on the world …

Friend Ship

Yes, your friend is the sailor who sails with you in all the ups and downs which you face in your life.

What you hate, he never likes it …
What you love, he always admires that …
When you sing, he adds tune to it …
When you laugh, he knows whether it is fake or genuine …
When you are sad, he is even sadder with the smiling face ...
When you speak, he is your words …
His family is same as yours with different names …
His belongings which he hates to share can be used by you …
His dreams which you want to convert into reality and your dreams in which he exist …
His unsaid secrets you hear in his silence, your secrets are well known to him …
Your interest is his liking and his interest becomes yours …
What you eat and drink, he likes to taste the same …
His words are your point of view and your point of view is what he is thinking at that moment …

Best friend are rare, they are the only people with whom you share …
You can’t have many best friends as everybody can't be your co-sailor …

India my Love

Sometime I think that why the hell I love this country, whats there in this country that binds me to its soil. Well the answer to this is the unique faith, beliefs which exist in the heart of every individual. Be it any religion, here people are living on beliefs, be it Hinduism, Islamic or any other. Most importantly the uniqueness in the "prasad" they offer to their lord.

I was reading an article in which there is an unknown shrine on GT Highway, on the stretch from Ambala to Shahbad Markanda in Haryana. It is the dargah of "nau gaja peer" Its the shrine of Syed Ibrahim Badshah, a saint who is believed to ensure safe journeys and completion of all works in time. There the devotees offer 'clocks' to the saint.

Then there is a temple in the Merta District of Rajasthan, a temple of goddess known as "Bhavaal Maata", here the goddess consumes liquor and that too 2.5 pegs from the silver cup which is offer to her by the Temple's Priest on behalf of the devotee.

At Karni Mata in Bikaner, locating 'white rat' is lucky and the seeing of 'snake' on Shiv Ling is considered very lucky by Hindus. There was the time when the statue of Ganesh Bhagwaan used to drink milk. You hear the stories from the priest of Mathura that everyday he changes the bedsheet for Krishna Bhagwaan who comes there every night to rest. There is a Temple near Nimach known as "Bhaadva Maata", the water from the temple acts as a Nectar for the patients of paralysis.

It is said that below every shrine of muslim saint there is a shiv ling and every morning the Maulwis of the dargah do the Pujas.

I love this land because no matter what is true or untrue, there is a faith and belief amongst people here which is there since centuries and is sincere by heart.

Aankhein

Kise dhundhti hain ye bheed mein, jo bheed hai idhar-udhar, titar-bitar,
Kitni geheraayi hai in mein? jheel se pucho…

Kabhi ye khil khilati hain to kabhi ye num hain,
Kabhi in mein dard zyaada hai to khushi kam hai…

Kabhi ye sapne dekhna chahti hain, to kabhi apno ko dekhna chahti hain.
Kabhi ye tik jaati hain kisi cheez pe, to kabhi inka tikna mushkil ho jaata hai…

Chupaaye rakhti hain ye kai sawaal aur kai jawaab,
Kabhi bunne lagti hain kai khwaab…

Insaan ke naa chaahte hue bhi sab batla deti hain ye,
Jhooth ko sach dikhla deti hain ye…

Kabhi shaitaani jhalakti inmein se,
To kabhi chamak uthti inmein se…

Aansuon ko simtaaye rakhti hain apne mein,
Bas palkon ko bhigaati rahati hai ye…

Aankhein, jo sab bayaan kar deti hain …

Communal Wrong

We Indians always boast about the religions, regions, cultures and traditions which are there in the country. But are we actually proud of them?

Religions are many, but the unity among each other is very mini. Hindus, people who worship more than 20 million gods n goddesses, Muslim, they worship one. Hindus worship the statues, the stones, the portraits whereas Muslim just worship Quran. There is no physical reason of worship for them. Both the religions are so different from each other but still they're fighting to prove who is above whom. No religion is big or small, no religion is high or low, there is only one thing which matter and that is Belief.

Why we find reasons to fight? Why people here spend their entire lives in proving who is wrong and who is right? The so call Pandits and the Maulwis are no less, they don't believe in peace because they themselves are not peaceful. The so call spiritual gurus are just there to play with the souls of the common man who believe in them blindly.

I don't think that here people need any reason for retaliations, to fight or to shout as they believe in following blindly. It doesn't matter to them to know the reason for the same, they act and do what they have been asked to do. An injured body of Muslim found outside the Temple is enough to spark the agitation. No-one is interested in getting into the root cause as they have already accused the Pandit of the Temple for the same. But now my question is what if the members of his own community are behind this. Why we have to give it the face of communalism?

Lines I wrote few years back,

Naa jaane is desh mein itni ladayi kyun hai...?

Naa jaane is desh ke logon mein itni hinsa kyun hai...?

Yun to kahete hain ki hum us desh ke waasi hain jahan ganga behati hai...
Par ab ganga ke saath saath kai khun ki nadiya bhi behati hain...

Kahene ko apna desh saath saal pahele azaad ho gaya...
Lekin bhaichaara or apnapan na jaane kahan kho gaya...?

Ladte hain mandir, masjid or mazhab ke naam par...
Kaun jaane diwali ali or ramzaan tika hai ram par...

Different faces of LiFe ...

Can you see the smile on that face or all you can witness is the tears in the eyes?
Is the blind man who is begging on the street is meant to cry for life, where are the helping hands?
The people who can are not doing it and those who can't just express their feelings.

We say the show must go on, but can it go on without the casts?
People here hear, react and forget, why can't they act upon it. Why they are running from the situation?
I know nothing is there in the hands of Humans, but the world needs your empty hands to lift, guide and help them and nothing else.

You've lost the person, he is not going to come back so does it mean you've lost all the memories of his.
Are we aware of the importance of the existence of our people or we just take them for granted?

The man on the street with sticks as his feet, is this justifiable?
The story of all the individuals are different, can't we just read and learn from it.
Time is the healer, well in my eyes it is also a big dealer.

Different faces of LIFE is hard to accept, we just can't smile in every situation. Sometimes we need to remain silent and feel.

Ekla Chalo Re ...

If they answer not to thy call walk alone,
If they are afraid and cower mutely facing the wall,
O thou unlucky one,
open thy mind and speak out alone.
If they turn away, and desert you when crossing the wilderness,
O thou unlucky one,
trample the thorns under thy tread,
and along the blood-lined track travel alone.
If they do not hold up the light when the night is troubled with storm,
O thou unlucky one,
with the thunder flame of pain ignite thy own heart
and let it burn alone.

Changing fAcEs ...

Whom you're looking at? Oh, is it the same face which used to be close to yours few days back. Now why they hide or steal the glance from you. Have they changed, or people around them have changed them? In both the cases, it is not good.

Are you waiting for time when they going to show back to you? Well you have your own breath, will it reduce in any way? People do change with time, I also change with time but I don't change the people with time. People who are close to me were there in past, are there in present and hopefully will be there in future. Then why the changing faces claim that you're closest to them, is it to make you feel good or is it to irritate you.

The short span of life which we live should be with all who matters to you not with the people whom you matter, they are selfish, they change with season, they change with others. The main reason of change is distance, is it matter? Not in my case. My friendship has grown rapidly with my best pal when we were not together. The love, bonding increases with distances if its true. You want to add more and more beautiful moments whenever you meet, but again its all about every individual. Some wants to add and some wants to end. The value of such faces decreases in my eyes who change with time.

"By changing face, you're loosing your grace ... god bless people like you"

Depart

This is the word which has many emotions attached to it but somehow I just hate this word.

The biggest question is why we have to depart from someone who is close to us and why the close ones have to depart from us? It means, Life isn't about happiness and comfort always. How it feels when you have to stay away from the person who is closest to you. Parents, Siblings, best pals can't be with you always and that is the fact of life.

We live for them, they live for us with miles in between. Are the short meetings with them add more memorable moments or we just get nostalgic.

She was there very close to me, I don't want to let her go. She waved at me, I waved at her back but was it from heart? That is the question. Who is she? She is Mumma, the lady who is departing from her kid.

All I have is SILENCE around me ... ... ...

HaPpInEsS

Is it there in my mind or is it there in someone else's mind?
Can we buy it or it can buy us?
What is required for happiness? Is it money, sleep, peace or satisfaction?

I met one man who earns Rs 2000 per day but still he isn't happy then I met a man who earns Rs 20 per day with a smiling face. He never cheats, he only helps others. He is free, slave of his own will.

I get happiness by looking at a small poor kid who is playing with mud, I get happiness when I see smile on my close one's face. I get happiness when people are happy around me. Am I saint? No, I am not. I am the one who wants to live above all the sadness, I want to be the one who finds little happiness in everything.

The crowd is cheering for you, The coward is asking for help from you.
Romance is happiness, if you believe it.
The ton of knowledge is waste, the piles of money is worthless, the status in the society doesn't matter, if you're not happy.

The killer isn't happy and neither the judge is. The victim is gone.
We live, we die. What matters is the journey in between.

Can we spread the happiness outside our window, can we just pass a smile to the man who is passing us.
Can we live for others for ourselves. Can we stand in a group who is surviving on the lonely planet.

"Close your eyes, reach to your brain and smile for all good traits you have for happiness"

In DIA

Who are we? We are the light of the lamp because wherever we go, we shine. We get highlighted, be it good or bad.

I want to talk about our land on which we live, love, laugh and cry. Undoubtedly the land where we are breathing is out of this world. It is the land where touching feet of elders takes you to the long life and fasting for your husband and kids carry their lives for long. It is the place where the wife puts Sindoor on her forehead and wears Mangalsutra in her neck for her husband’s safety. The land where people survive on faith, the place where your neighbors and friends are much closer than your blood pals. It is the land where we don’t compare with the best, here we compare with the person whom we rub our shoulders.

The beauty, glory and pride peeps from every corner of this nation. The cultures, the dances, the traditions, the dresses, the crops, the flora and fauna is simply unique. Different colours at different parts of the country makes it more appealing, be it white snow at Rohtang Pass, the yellow Sarson crop or the desert. The land isn’t beautiful because of any celebrity. It is beautiful because of our Bengal Tigers, Nilgiri Langurs and many more. The festivals like Holi, Baisakhi, Eid, Christmas, etc adds beauty to it. The spicy food which is famous worldwide is another different and unique thing of our country. From Sabut Lal Mirch to Dhaniya Powder, a tinge of it changes the taste. The handicrafts, the paintings, the sculptures all have their own stories.

From Sitar to Sarod to Santoor, all have their own melodies and the way of playing each one of them is more significant than the other. The land where we have different languages at each corner but still we understand the most common language and that is of emotions, gestures and eye contact.

The colourful land, the inCredible India …

For the Love ...

Who is she?

Is she a bright blue sky who is very high or is she a full moon's beauty.
The smile is refreshing, the laugh is charming, the gestures are of a little baby.

What does that big forehead signifies, is it to kiss or just to store all the good memories.
As pure as fresh air, as pretty as lily, as caring as the mother of a child who is not grown.

Are all the colours meant for her or she is just justifying them.
The picture of her is clear in my mind but I am not a good painter.

The beautiful neck which always attract kisses to peck.
Hands which are just meant to rest on my palms.

Who is she with those perfect feet. Yes, for her my heart beats.
What is there in her sparkling eyes? Are they waiting for me or I am already in there.

The heart is pumping fast while writing this. Is she asking me to finish this quickly.
She resides in me Lord, she is your angel whom you sent.

A PoEm ...

Where is your mind, is it dead with time,
With the healing of time, the wounds find different ways to give pain,
The happiness isn’t for long and it doesn't mean I said the sadness will remain, it’s like the blinking of eyes at different times, when you get up in the morning they are hard and otherwise they are free.
The smile has lost its significance, only the showing of teeth matters.

The environment is filthy, the heart is negative. Do I like this or not, who knows, not even my soul.
The hatred with surrounding is like cough, what all you want is to throw out.
And the family which you've left at home is missing you, are you living for them or your heart is beating for them. Or it is just the feeling which is hard for you to admit.
Do we love each other or we are pretending, is the feeling permanent or the feeling is temporary.
The rainbow is just about 7 colours, have you thought of going under the deep sea than looking at the sky.

Are we still artificial or we always wanted to be superficial?
We’re the slaves of ourselves, only person who can make you his slave is your own soul.
Have you given the trust, the peace and some relax to someone, have you given it to yourself.

Why we wait for someone to tell us, are we blind, are we deaf. You speak what I’ll tell you.
I don’t have any follower because I don’t want people to follow more than one people.
Do I need to be doped for writing or its just I have to be high.
Have I lost in the thoughts or am I just reading my mind because I think I am a poet, not a lyricist.

Mr Hu Attachin

What is this must be your question?

Well I was going through a documentary, "When you're strange", its on the music band known as "The Doors". It is one of my favorite band and its lead singer, "Jim Morrison" is again my favorite. He is an amazing poet.

So while I was watching the documentary, I came up with an old line which was there in Jim's song. It is, "Mr Mojo Risin" and its actually extracted from his name itself. He just jumbled them.

Well here I did the same. I jumbled my name Achint Mathur into 'Mr Hu Attachin', the meaning of 'hu' is 'god' in Sufi language. So the meaning is 'Mr God Attachin' ...

Angry Bird

No, here I am not talking about the popular game. I am talking about the angry bird which we carry in ourselves.

Though different people take it in different manner but I take it as an 'emotion'. The act is very normal and usually healthy. I do get angry simply because the things don't go the way I want. When I want something from heart and don't receive it, the emotion has to be there. And I am not destructive in my anger, I just stay quiet for long and all I want is silence around me.

People says that you should control the anger before the anger should control you, well in that case I have a strong will power, I have full control on myself and anger can't control me. And now the question arises that why should I don't get angry? Well the emotion is very natural, though its for the limited duration but its there.

Well yes, you do sometime get angry very often and the reason I could find for this is only your close ones. A stranger has no rights to spoil your mood and it doesn't matter to you also. It only matters to you when somebody close to you says, acts the way you wasn't expecting. Expectations also plays an important role in doing or controlling anger. So the point is either you don't do anger or you just kill all your expectations and stay happy. But in that case you are challenging your own self, your own personality. Compromising is good, but compromising every time is a trait of a loser, and you shouldn't be one of them.

"The best answer to anger is silence and that's how i answer it"

Agnipath

I am in love with this poem from the past 10 yrs and after watching the movie, i would like to mention it here ...

Vriksh ho bhale khade,
Ho ghane, ho bade,
Ek patra chaa bhi,
Mang maat, mang maat, mang maat
Agnipath, Agnipath, Agnipath

Tu na thakega kabhi,
Tu na thamega kabhi,
Tu na mudega kabhi,
Kar shapath, kar shapath, kar shapath
Agnipath, Agnipath, Agnipath

Yeh maahan drishya hai,
Chal raha manushya hai,
Ashru, shwet, rakth se,
Lathpat, lathpat, lathpat
Agnipath, Agnipath, Agnipath

Ummedo Waali Dhoop

Recently, I have started loving this track. But really want to add something to it, so my additions are in (italics) ...

Ummeedon waali dhoop,
Jo bikharti hai aur sanvaarti hai kai logon ke roop …

Sunshine waali aasha,
Ye na jaane koi basha…

Rone ki wajah hai kam, Hasne ke bahaane zyada,
Aansu ko hasi mein badle, kare har koi yeh vaada …

Zidd hai muskuraayenge ,Khush rehne ka hai waada,

Jab khul jaati hain raahein, uska swagat karo khole baahein …

Toh khul ke khushi lutao, Ye kya aadha-aadha,
Yehi hai zindagi jeene ka tarika, seedha-saadha…

Umeedon wali dhoop, Sunshine Wali asha … …
