Shocking but TRUE ...

This is interesting … and shocking ...

'Jana Gana Mana' - Just a thought for the National Anthem! How well do you
know about it?

I have always wondered who is the ' adhinayak 'and' bharat bhagya
vidhata',whose praise we are singing.. I thought might be Motherland India !
Our current National Anthem 'Jana Gana Mana'is sung throughout the country.

Did you know the following about our national anthem, I didn't.

To begin with, India 's national anthem, Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka, was
written by Rabindranath Tagore in
honor of King George V and the Queen of
England when they visited India in 1919. To honor their visit Pandit Motilal
Nehru had the five stanzas included , which are in praise of the King and
Queen.(And most of us think it is in the praise of our great motherland!! !)

In the original Bengali verses only those provinces that were under
British rule, i.e . Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat ,Maratha etc. were mentioned. None of the
princely states were recognized which are integral parts of India now
Kashmir, Rajasthan, Andhra, Mysore or Kerala.

Neither the Indian Ocean nor the Arabian Sea was included, since they were
directly under Portuguese rule at that time. The Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka
implies that King George V is the lord of the masses and Bharata Bhagya
Vidhata is 'the bestower of good fortune'.

Following is a translation of the five stanzas that glorify the King.

*First stanza:* (Indian) People wake
up remembering your good name and ask
for your blessings and they sing your glories. (Tava shubha name jaage; tava
shubha aashish maage, gaaye tava jaya gaatha)

*Second stanza*: Around your throne people of all religions come and give
their love and anxiously wait to hear your kind words..

*Third stanza:* Praise to the King for
being the charioteer, for leading the
ancient travelers beyond misery.

*Fourth stanza: *Drowned in the deep ignorance and suffering,
poverty-stricken, unconscious country? Waiting for the wink of your eye and
your mother's (the Queen's) true protection..

*Fifth stanza*: In your compassionate plans, the sleeping Bharat ( India )
will wake up. We bow down to your feet O' Queen, and glory to Rajeshwara
(the King).

This whole poem does not indicate any love for the Motherland but depicts a
bleak picture.. When you sing Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka, whom are
you glorifying? Certainly not the Motherland. Is it God? The poem does not
indicate that. It is time now to understand the original purpose and the
implication of this, rather than blindly sing as has been done the past
fifty years.
Nehru chose the present national anthem as opposed to Vande Mataram because
he thought that it would be easier for the
band to play!!!
It was an absurd reason but Today for that matter bands have advanced and
they can very well play any music. So they can as well play Vande Mataram,
which is a far better composition in praise of our Dear Motherland India .

Humans v/s Animals or Animals v/s Better side of God ?

‘Loving animals is far better than loving human beings; at least you will get the same in return’

In our country there are loads of kinds of people. They worship stones, animals and what not. They live for belief and customs.
But there are people who act like animals; they treat animals just like what they actually sound. Do they don’t deserve love, care and affection ?

I was watching in the news and saw that a Bear by mistake got into a village and was so nervous that he was searching his way towards the Jungle desperately, but the residents of that particular village have beaten him so badly that later the forest department declared his death. The Bear was not there to harm anyone and he himself was tensed then why such kind of behaviour against him. People who are part of Peta or other Animal Saviours should take this issue very seriously and must take some action against them.

I don’t know why humans have to act like animals when they are available to act themselves. We humans have lost all the inner humanity in us; at least animals are acting in the best possible way they can. 40-50 people beating a Bear, if somebody thinks that he did a heroic job then he must fight alone, then wait for the result. Mass can destruct a weak easily but what is important is to fight alone and became a hero as in this case Bear is. He fought and sacrificed his life.

The scene in the news was mixed with feelings like anger, helpless for me. They were all beating him with the sticks, stones and rods. Beating with the thing which we worship and beating the ‘animal’ whom we worship in some parts of the county.

May the Bear’s soul rest in peace and the ‘PUNCH’ to all the villagers and an appeal to the forest department and the govt of that area to take necessary steps.

Breaking Habit

You break so many things since your birth to your death and with each breaking, there is lots of emotions and feelings attached to it...

In childhood you used to break toys, you laugh on it and if it was your favourite one, then the emotion changes... You grow up a bit then you intend to break whatever comes in your hand, its your destructive age...

In your late teens and early twenties, you break someone's heart, you break relationships, you break things which sometimes you are forced to whereas sometimes you want to...Year passes, but the habit continues in the form of trust, belief, faith, friendship etc...

You aren't actor but still you have to act and pretend things as you want...

As you grow older and older, the habit of breaking is still following you and now its impact is deeper and deeper...

Its human tendency, you can't change it but you have to live with the fact...

Power of ONE

Rashida Begum… a rebel or an eye opener or a powerful woman…??...
This lady from Rajouri District in Jammu and Kashmir killed a Lashkar Terrorist with an AXE and badly injured the second as they were hiding at her place…

A true muslim fights for her rights with a ‘so call muslim’ who is not only insulting his own community but also the mankind… few writers are very correct… these terrorist are not from any religion, their religion is just terrorism… they have changed the actual meaning of Jihad…

In my eyes, Rashida is an icon and we Indians should look upto her and learn some lessons from her… we cant live while depending on others… someday we have to fight all alone… have to live and survive independently…

Hats off to you lady and I hope to hear more n more about people like you… who are for themselves and for the nation…not for any religion, caste or anything…

TRUST...

These five letters word is the biggest belief in mankind…
You can’t force it, you can’t buy… all you have to do is to gain it…

“love all, trust few, trust only those who loves you”

Trust is the thing which you can see in the person’s eyes, in his thoughts, in his actions, in his speech… the one should be comfortable enough to trust you so that he/she can share their views, ideas and secrets with you…

There are people who can do anything to gain one’s trust but the thing they forget is you don’t have to do anything… it comes very naturally to whom to trust and whom to not… and if somebody trust you, you should be ready to do anything so that you will never break that particular person’s trust… cuz it’s the wealth which is earned with time, faith and heart… if you loose you will never be able to earn it again… its one of the most difficult thing to earn on this planet… don’t know about other planets.. ;)
People gonna come and go… the only which will stay back with you is their memories and trust in you…

be trustworthy…

MONEY...

'If money talks and bullshit walks, we walk in' ...

Is it the most essential thing for living..?.. I know you can buy a bread to eat but still... why their is so much of greed for money in the society. If you and your family are having all the 3 meals comfortably then why there is greed for more...

You can't buy happiness, love, smile, tears, a relation or rather anything from money and from my point of view these are the most essentials for one's living... There are people who are dying of hunger and poverty but still they aren't starving to earn money as our so call 'rich class' is...
I know there are people who loves to talk in thousand of crores and above that they don't know how many Zeros they have to add in that...
Money can only buy 'things' not the 'thoughts'...

If we eat, drink and sleep money then I would like to stay hungry for life, let my throat gets dry and let my eyes open till my last breathe...

Unchangeable Changes...

In the end, its always me and my thoughts and my views...
Whenever I sense some change around me, I just withdraw myself rather than finding the cause for the change...
Sometimes these changes hurt a lot, I try to get back to myself and try to forget about the world but its hard, its easy to say but tough to admit... I don't like changes, though they are liked by many but in my case its all together different...

People change, their acts, their habits changes and moreover the way they look at you changes... I know its hard to keep an open heart, even your so call friends also behaves abnormally at times...

Changes have to be accepted but in my case its always hard to admit...

Some Facts and Mistakes

We Indians loves to butcher the English language by the wrong pronunciation or by following stupid stupid accents..
We love to pronounce " schedule " as " skedule ", but we always forget that we are suppose to follow British English not the American one...

And when we are at some restaurant or at the bar, at the end we smartly ask for " cheque " which is wrong and inappropriate. The reason behind this is , Americans calls it a cheque as they call their currency as bill...

BUT BUT BUT, we have to follow all the negative and wrong things which are existing in the society. We speak smartly but the impact is just horrible... There are lot of things which we say wrongly just cuz everybody is pronouncing it wrongly and you can't dare to correct it rightly...

Learn to speak and write correctly, if you can't then please use your mother-tongue as its one of the most beautiful and oldest language.

cOlOuRs

People take it in different manner, people say it in a different manner...

Red, Yellow, Green etc., different people will choose their different colour or rather their individual colour. Some colours are linked with their 'luck' whereas some just for their sake. It all depends and suits one's personality and its all one's perception...

World is fighting on Black and White, white alwayz hate the blacks and blacks always hate the whites but human tendency is, mostly Blacks will wear White and White will wear Black...
We stop on Red and we move on green, red is for alert and green is for prosperity, its all interlinked...

We all live with so many colours, we all see so many colours, still we say that our life is colourless. Black and White colours are the most bold colours in our life, so if your life is Black and White, you should be proud of it, its more intense and deeper...

'I must say you shouldn't be colourful in life but you should add all the colours in your life'...

Saturday Morning

On a lazy saturday morning when you are lying in bed, drifting in and out of sleep,
there is a space where fantasy and reality become one... Are you awake or are you dreaming.?.
You see people and things ; some are familiar ; some are strange...
You talk, you feel, but you move without walking ; you fly without wings...
Your mind and your body exist, but on separate planes...
Time stands still... For me, this is the feeling I have...

Main aur Meri Tanhayee aksar ye baatein karte hain...

I see you with my close eyes...
I dream about you with my open eyes...
I can hear your voice even when you are too far...
I talk to you when I know you won't reply...
I could feel your presence when I know you aren't around...
Thats how much I love you...
Look what you have done...

When Present remembers the Past

Wouldn’t all of us want to go back to the time when :-

‘getting high’ meant ‘on a swing’…

‘drinking’ meant ‘apple juice’….

‘dad’ was the only ‘hero’…

‘love’ was ‘mom’s hug’…

‘dad’s shoulder’ was the ‘highest place on the earth’…

your ‘worst enemies’ were your ‘siblings’…

the only thing that could ‘hurt’ were ‘skinned knees’…

the only things ‘broken’ were your ‘toys’…

and ‘goodbyes’ only meant ‘till tomorrow’…

Missing Nani Maa...

if i am the third generation of the family then here is the end of the first...

i slept like everyday at 2 in the night and jus after 2 hrs at 4 o'clock dad woke me up and said get ready we are going to delhi...
in that moment of silence, i couldn't ask him why cuz i think i knew the answer... Nani Maa is no more.

She was my eldest friend... we used to share jokes, laughs, family issues etc etc.... we used to talk for hrs n hrs...
11 dayz before she was talking about my marriage wid me n mumma and she promised me that she gonna sit with me on the horse.
She broke but i think her promise isn't ... She was very close to 4 of us i.e. Papa, Mumma , Di and myself... she used to have topics to talk about with each one of us...

well she lived her life and achieved her last goal and that was Di's marriage... i was jus sitting and calculating that she died 131 dayz after Di's marriage... if we write these dayz in a date form then it is 1/31 i.e. Di's marriage day and she lived and struggled for that particular day and time...

here is a poem by W.H.Auden which really touched me...

"Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message She is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

She was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good."

Missing you Nani Maa... please be with us all the time... we need you.

The Beeper's Shows...

the tough n busiest job on the air is of Beeper these dayz... they have so much to do...
the shows like Roadies, Splitsvilla, G talk and now the Fast and Gorgeous... mainly all the MTV shows are teaching us how to insult and use all sorts of abusive words...and they are showing all this on the National Channel... and our so called youth of the nation is talking about these 24 X 7...they dont wanna miss a single episode of this... they are all intrested in back-slappin...bitching...etc etc...and i am sure they are learning all this with a gr8 speed...though our beepers are doing their job perfectly but they are forgetting that the youth of this country are one step ahead in every field...
According to me, we should also have some Censor Board related to the tv industry so that they can restrict the language and can maintain decorum of the Tv industry...

"we should try to learn the good things rather than learning things which is not at all acceptable..."

"Better to be backward rather than modern like this..."

Elections in India...

Soon, the cruel leaders going to replace the new leaders turn cruel…

Elections after 5 years, is a really worst thing in the country… In these few months, our so called the “leaders” beg as much as they can for votes… and these votes are not meant to do something good for the country or their constituency, they only want to do good for themselves…

‘Of the people, by the people and for the people’ turned into ‘Of the politicians, by the politicians and for the politicians’… the average asset which is realised is around 10 crores per minister… and the average income of a farmer in our country is not even Rs. 10 per day… In the time of recession they are minting money and spending lavishly on their lives and spending millions and millions on their respective election campaigning…

Every famous person in the country is doing advertisement and asking public to Vote… I don’t think its their business... everyone in our country has the right to think for their betterment and work towards it and our leaders are not going to help in this at all… And the question is to ‘WHOM TO VOTE”….???... is their any right candidate..??... everyone is same … speaks same language…corrupted… and also earn with the same speed…

“I would rather stay at home and be a silent spectator than be one of the reasons in spoiling this nation by choosing such undeserving candidates..."

from feb 2009 to april 2009...

here is my post after a big gap... the reason is cuz of my exams and no new thoughts were coming in my mind... as whatever used to come , that i ve already posted...
well was nearly finished with my exam but thanx to our elections that one exam has been postponed and now it gonna take place on 5th of may...

visited school in mid of april...with saharsha, vardhman and rohit... enjoyed a lot...it was like best 24 hours in the recent years...

IPL is on... indian event taking place outside is really disgusting... the people who are linked with the IPL are only concerned about money... they shifted it cuz of securtiy reasons... i remember a msg which i got few dayz bak.. " in 2010, due to security reasons the flag hoisting on republic day will take place in London "... :)

Elections are also on... everybody is fighting for the seats... spending millions of money on choppers and aircrafts as our so called big leaders can't travel on road as well as rail...
there are more than 5-6 candidates for the post of PM... i am also thinking to join the club... :)

Formula 1 season is started and the new company Brawn won the majority of races till now... its like 1st time in the history that the new company is taking over everyone... Ferrari is nowhere in the light till now... and our Force India still fighting to gain atleast 1 point from the last season...i don't know why Vijay Mallya dont give a shot to indian drivers...i am sure they can do better than the existing drivers...

rest everything is same as before... have fun...
cheers...

Why Million blessings to Slumdog...

Slumdog Millionaire scored 8 Oscars this year... seems everybody is happy and proud of it but i am not...
the story is about a boy who lives in slums of Mumbai and won a million in a game show...
well lets come to the reality first...
the kids, elders and everybody who is residing in Slums are speaking 'English' so fluently that even our so call high class society can't speak like that... the people who are living in slums especially in Mumbai can't speak Hindi properly forget about English...they only speak Marathi...thats it...
and the Jury love this movie...and the crowd of India is getting mad about it...India is a country where everyone is following each other...they don't know whom are they following, why are they following...but still...they are doing it...
Foreign Director showed the poverty and dirty side of India and he got the awards...the main reason for getting so many awards are the foreigners across the globe love this side of India...they only wanna see the poor and their conditions so that they can laugh about it...
the music is also chartbuster but my ears disliked it... but i am very happy for A.R. Rehman as he is my favourite singer and music composer..
I give full credit to Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for making Rang de Basanti...the music, the direction, everything was just amazing... but we are mass followers and will never learn to appreciate our own things...
other than this, the movies which i found really good in recent years are... Taare Zameen Par, Lagey Raho Munna Bhai , A Wednesday etc etc... these kinda movies should represent India...

Go Indian Public...

Lifez Like It...

here was the moment....
when i have to smile with tears and cry with a smile...

didi departs for another house and to another family...
this is the most hurting and awful experience for the family of a girl who is getting married...you loose every right on her which you used to have... i really cried when dad said that "one shouldn't have a girl child"...its damn painful...

well its a beginning of a new life for all of us... and you can't change the God's decisions...
another very depressing moment was when Nani Ma arrived... though we all were excited and happy to see her but the condition in which she came was really sad... i think all of us cried after seeing her...its all her inner strength and strong will to attend Di's marriage... God alwayz gives you what you want...

all's well that ends well... was sitting with dad and were giving credit to ourselves that we have managed to do things quite well and that too in a new city where everything was strange to us...everything went off smoothly and calmly... and i don't think anybody left with bad feelings...

may god give all the happiness, love and success to Di and Jijaji...

"this is the end...for a new beginning..."

i dont wanna live alone...cuz they are with me....
i dont wanna be sad in my life...cuz they are with me...
i want all the happiness in the world...cuz they are with me...
i wanna get up with a smiling face every morning...cuz they are with me...
i wanna sleep every night calmly and peacefully...cuz they are with me...
they were there in past...they are with me in present....and i hope they will be with me till my last breath...
they are my F.R.I.E.N.D.S. ... now and more than ever...
