The FoUr Years

Four years of exploring the mind, finding the words, observing the surroundings.

Today I’ve completed 4 years of blogging and during this time I’ve captured my thoughts in words, expressed my views in sentences and gave my opinions in paragraphs.

With this, I would like to thank many people for giving me inspiration and appreciation on my writing. Firstly, would like to thank my Dad-Mom, who are regular visitors of my blog. Though they give their feedback on very few of my posts but they are very much part of it. Secondly, would like to thank my Didi-Jijaji for their support and sometimes corrections too. Saharsha for inspiring me to write, well some of my posts are actually inspired from them. Luvleen Benbi, the first person to comment on my writings. Last but not the least, would like to thank Saumya, a fellow blogger, for all the encouragement and feedback which she gives in her own way.

Also would like to thank the crazy, weird and unique world around me who always inspires me to write.

Autowala. In

And he saw me standing while crossing me, he was going for some work and soon after 5 minutes he came back to me and asked, "Bhaiya kahan jaana hai?", I told him, close to "Filmistan". He said, "bethiye, paise jitne hote hain utne de dena aap". This man was Mr. Bechan who haven't asked me double the rate than the actual. I asked the meaning of his name but he was unaware of the same. I searched it too on the internet but couldn't find anything. And the journey started.

This was, when I had gone to Delhi on the last weekend after having tough one month in Behror. I wanted to talk, share my views and opinions and the very first guy I met was Mr. Bechan. He cursed other Autowalas as they were available when I was in need but wasn't going because of the Traffic Jams. He said, "Bhaiya, jaana hum sab ka farz hai, ab traffic to puri Dilli mein hai, iska matlab ye thodi na ki kahin nahi jayenge, aur aap bhi paise de rahe ho to humein kya farak padta hai." His words were meaningful and same were his views. Then he cursed the local Traffic Police that how they harass these Autowalas for without any reason. Just to earn money they charge them for any stupid reason. He told me stories about weird passengers who are not willing to pay even Rs. 20 which is appropriate and how he let it go to avoid any argument.

Then as we were rolling on the road, he started sharing his family issues. That his nephew who is 18 wants to marry a girl of the different caste who is 21. How that girl is taking the advantage of this boy. Bechan bought a Motorbike for him as he demanded but soon he started spending his time and his money on that stupid girl. After all this, the boy told his Chacha i.e. Bechan that he wants to marry that girl and for that he can also leave the house. Bechan tried his level best to convince him but failed, he also kicked him but again not succeeded and then he decided to take them to the Police. The police thrashed that boy and girl (not that badly) and made them write that they won't see each other again.

Well this was the step taken by Bechan. He stopped his 18 years old nephew to get married so soon and Bechan became a villain infront of his brother and sister in-law. They even threatened him that they will file case against him for beating their son. But in my eyes Bechan did good for his nephew and for his entire family.

Subhash Subhash

Unfortunately or fortunately the name of this man is inspired from our very own Subhash Chandra Bose. SCB was an extremist but this man is Mr. Bechara.

Subhash Subhash, O Subhash. The only thing I hear during the day. The man should be the Mascot of Johnnie Walker, as the label says, "KEEP WALKING". Subhash paani laana, Subhash chai laana, Subhash woh print out lana, Subhash ye photocopy kardena zara, Subhash is cheque pe sign kara lana and etc.

And the mistake which I did was when I asked Mr. Subhash, 'ke aap itne pareshaan kyun rahate ho' and then he started with his Oscar winning performance. "Bhaiya, 6 saal ho gaye, 4000 tankhwa milti hai. 3 jano ka kaam mujhse karate hain aur uske baad bhi main gaali khata hun, aadmi khush rahe to kahan se rahe". Well I guess this story is everywhere but again its part of the office life.

Talaash

Na jaane mujhe kiski talaash hai.

Maa-Baap ki khushi ki talaash.
Palkon ko halka karne ki talaash,
Apno ko paas laane ki talaash,
Hothon pe hasi ki talaash,
Doston ke saath ki talaash,
Dushmano se sulah karne ki talaash,
Sapne pure karne ki talaash,
Haathon ki rekhayein badalne ki talaash,
Khush rahane ki talaash,
Gum se dur rahane ki talaash,
Peeda ko dur karne ki talaash,
Basahara ko sahara dene ki talaash,
Aansuyon ko pine ki talaash,
Jeevan ke maksad ki talaash,
Manzil ko paane ki talaash.
Hai talaash, hai talaash

"Hai mujhe talaash, paa sakun main bhi apna palash"

Satyamev Jayate - I

"satya ki humesha jeet hoti hai"

When Aamir Khan says something from the heart, the words are heavy for you mind.

The show Satyamev Jayate broadcasted its very first episode on May 6th, 2012 @ 11 o’clock IST. I mentioned this because I want it to be remembered as a very remarkable beginning of the new India. The episode was about an evil act which is taking place in our society and all which we were doing in these years were listening, getting hyper and forgetting but this is the time we should stand up together and fight against it.

Today’s episode was on the Female Infanticides and Foeticides. How the father, grandparents are against of an unborn little girl. They are killing the baby inside the womb if it’s a girl. And this activity is not only practiced in rural India but also the urban, literate people are doing the same. They want a boy who will take their name ahead. I don’t understand why they want their name to go ahead, in the end it will die with you. The only things which will last long are your good deeds. I don’t understand how can you kill a girl who is from the same sex as your mother, sister, wife and etc are. Have you ever thought what if your mother would have been asked to abort the child who was living inside her. It would have been the good for the society as we could have saved 2-3 more lives.

Then we saw some examples of cruelty of the so called male members as well as of females. The man who bit the face of his wife because she gave birth to two daughters, even animals don’t perform such cruel and brutal acts. In the so call society we say that a woman can only understand the pain of another woman but I guess this has been proven wrong. An old lady throwing a newly born girl from the stairs, what kind of inhuman act is that? Wish that old lady's parents would have done that with her.

Then we saw some murderers who live with the tag of life savers. The doctors who are encouraging such acts should be punished as well. It’s so easy to say that just take the girl and bury her but have you ever fiddled the heart of the mother of that child who is carrying her from the past 9 months, who never cared for herself before as she was doing in these 9 months?

Such acts are actually irritating and disgusting. The people who are doing such acts should actually be hanged or buried alive. This kind of act is worse than what the murderers do. The murderers kill the man who is there in this world since long but people like these are killing the girls who still haven’t become the part of this shitty world.

Waiting to see another ray of hope by Mr. Khan

Speechless

I made this, observed it, then I go speechless

banane waalon ne dono hi dharmon ke prateekon ko alag alag dishaun ka rukh diya hai,

Reserving the Nation

What comes in your mind when I say the word reservation? Is it related to travelling, is it related to the quota? What is it? Here I am talking about reservation for different castes.

Well I don’t understand why there is so much of confusion where the reservation is concerned. Why there is so much of chaos created? Why can’t we keep all the castes, religions on one platform and decide on merit basis. When you fill up a form, there is general quota which has lost its significance and then there are many followers like SC/ST, OBC etc. and now soon will be coming up for Jats, Gujjars, Rajputs and everyone. Soon the people who are falling in general category will be considered as minors.

You give an exam; if you score within cut off list then you’re through else you’re out. Now where the confusion is? Why the 100 seats are distributed in 60+20+15 and 5. Why can’t we have 100 seats for the top 100 whatsoever? The system should be merit based not the religion or caste based.

And what is with the agitation movements? If the government isn’t providing the reservation to some caste then the people of that caste will harm the civilians with their rude attitude, acts and behavior. What is the fault of the normal citizens who are not even part of the whole scenario? Moreover the majority of the protestors don’t even know the reason for protesting. Just by following their uncivilized leader they become the part of the movement without knowing the outcome. What if they lose their life in this? Who will gain from it? The answer is simple and clear and i.e. No one.

If you have guts and can dare to fight, then do it with courage by being part of the same system and not on the edge of some threat.

Bo Ring

What you do when you get bore? The place of getting bore plays an important role and your acts, behavior changes with it.

If you’re getting bore in the office

You watch people who are passing by; you watch the wall clock after every 5 minutes and in between see your wrist watch couple of times.

You stare at your Comp/Laptop screen like you haven’t seen such like before. You’ve opened your gmail and fb account and wait for somebody to ping you so that you can pass few moments.

You drink water unnecessarily even if your body is not demanding. You keep swinging on your chair.

You take out your cell phone to see that whether there is any message or not even if it’s on ringer or on vibrator. You scroll down all the contacts, read all the old messages and inside you feel sick.

If you’re getting bore in your room

Many acts are similar like above but there are more. You start a movie which you’ve seen before but you switch that off after 7 minutes.

You listen to the same old music but after sometime switch that off too.

You slide in your bed and take some book in your hands to read; you read a page and a half and close it too.

You get up, stand infront of the mirror and comb your unmessed hair. You start eating even if you’re not hungry. You watch outside from the window hoping to see something interesting and when there is nothing, you come to the bed again and finally to stay away from the boredom you go to sleep.

If you’re getting bore in some family function

You wish people and sit down, again you stand to wish and sit down and when again you have to greet, you decides to keep standing.

You watch people doing things unnecessarily. Kids who are playing around, you want to be the part of them. Elders having drinks but you cannot. There is only one good looking girl who is also leaving early. Aunts are asking stupid questions and sharing their views when you were young lad.

In a marriage you’re staring the bride and the groom and placing yourself in place of groom or the bride (depending on your sex and preferences). You hate the loudness which is there without any reason. Within you're thinking that why the hell people are shouting, what is so weird?

You decide to go at the stalls to eat. You check other people’s plate to see what they’re having. You take a round of all the dishes which are exhibited as if you’re the instructor. You take the plate, keep salad on it and reach to the stall, the one which gained your interest.

There is so much of boredom around but in the end we have to accept the situation and handle the same.
